Chaparral started in 1977 as a small restaurant in Whittier, California serving Mexican food exclusively. Cuban food was added later in 1995, when the restaurant was relocated to Titusville, Florida. The combination of mexican and Cuban food was accepted and has proven to be a success.
The Sanchez family has been working non-stop for over 18 years in Titusville with more than 32 years of experience overall. Head Chef Antonio Hernandez has been with the restaurant for more than 30 years since opening in Whittier, California.
